Whether an overnight stay, a short break or a holiday we provide everything that you need to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. 

​

The lodge is now pleased to offer an Air BnB style 4 Star Award guest accommodation.  Our guests can now self check-in, pick up their 'Welcome Bag' in the outer lobby and access keys from the lockbox.

OUR ROOMS

We have recently upgraded all 8 of our bedrooms and our high standards ensure that all bedrooms are spotless. We have a choice of king, twin bedded or family bedrooms. All have en-suite showers, smart flat-screen TVs, espresso machines and free wifi.  

We can now offer a ground-floor super king mini-suite with a luxury free-standing bath.

Breakfast
Our self-serve breakfast is available from 08:00 to 10:00.

Complimentary Breakfast

Guests can help themselves to our self-serve continental breakfast from our dining room. We are also providing a microwave for guest's convenience.
Help yourself from our fridge, which has Greek-style yoghurt and orange juice. 

From the servery, there will be a range of cereals, pastries, a fruit bowl, toast-making facilities and tea and coffee-making facilities.

Parking

Simple Car parking is available onsite. On a first come, first served basis.  There is off-road parking just around the corner (Gleadowe Avenue) if we become congested. 

Free Wifi

Free wifi across all our rooms.

Surroundings

We are close to the River Stour, the River Avon, Throop plus Christchurch Harbour and the open sea are nearby so we also have a faithful following of surfers and anglers. We have a safe place for wet watersports gear, cycling equipment and sodden fishermen are also catered for.

Cultural Sites

 

The eleventh century Priory Church Christchurch is renowned for its rivers and harbour. With many historic locations open to the public including the ruins of Christchurch Castle, the Red House Museum and Highcliffe Castle .

Leisure Activities

 

Christchurch has many different Leisure Activities in and around the local area such as Christchurch Tennis Club, Two-rivers-Meet Lesuire Cente and much more.

Eating and Drinking

 

Lots of places around the local area from old English pubs, wine bars, and night club. Whether for a romantic weekend or a family getaway.  

Beautiful Beaches

 

From Hengistbury Head to Bournemouth Beach the surrounding beaches are a treat for strolling or for water sports.

Sea Fishing & Angling
 

The River Avon and Royalty Fishery in Christchurch offer excellent sea trout and salmon course fishing, also the Throop Fishery which is a short distance away and a all year round beach casting is excellent at Mudeford and Hengistbury Head whilst during Spring and Summer sea angling for bass and grey mullet is good in the lower reaches of Christchurch Harbour.
